Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) - Ministry of Home Affairs of Malaysia is one of the ministries concerned with domestic interests. The ministry has a long-established and still operating until now. Agencies involved in the ministry, including the Royal Malaysian Police, the Prisons Department of Malaysia, Malaysian Film Censorship Board, the Malaysian People's Volunteer Corps, the National Registration Department and others. Since the establishment of the Federation of Malaya on February 1, 1948 until March 1951, the administration of the Malaysian Federal Government or the Central Government (Central Government) has been run by three British officials called the Chief Secretary or the Secretary, the Attorney General and the Financial Secretary.

In March 1951, the colonial government in Malaya has made a significant change to hold a historic yet new way called 'The System' (Member System).

At that time there began to portfolio or department called the Department of Internal Affairs, now known as the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Until now, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone its own history and several times changed its name from the Department of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Interior and Justice, Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Interior and is now known as the Ministry of Home Affairs State.

Following the Federal Election was first held on July 27, 1955 and the outstanding victory of the Alliance Party] (Combination of UMNO, MCA and MIC) for the elections, YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman was appointed as the Chief Minister of the Federation of Malaya and the Minister of Home Affairs State on August 9, 1955 at the same time, the administration of the "Expert System" has been disbanded and replaced by the "System minister". With these changes, the Department of Internal Affairs changed its name to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Due to the then Minister of Internal Affairs is also the Chief Minister, a Minister of the Right has been appointed to manage the Ministry of Home Affairs. Y.B. Mr. Bahaman bin Shamsudin was appointed Senior Assistant Minister for Home Affairs on August 9, 1955.

When the Federation of Malaya gained independence on August 31, 1957, YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman was appointed as the first Prime Minister and was appointed Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Defense and Homeland Security. At that time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible for nine departments, the Department of Broadcasting, the Civil Defence Department, the Immigration Department, Information Department, Hajj Affairs, Printing Department, Prisons Department, the Department of Registration and Statistics Department and the Secretariat of Economy.

In July 1958, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was reorganized and changed its name to the Ministry of Interior and Justice. Next, Y.B. Dato 'Suleiman bin Dato' Abdul Rahman was appointed as the Minister of Interior and Justice in September 1957.

In August 1959, the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Justice have become two separate, namely the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Justice. Departments placed under the care and responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs is the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, Chemistry Department, Fire Services Department, the Department of Local Government, Department of Government Printing, Prison Department, Registration Department and the Department of Town and Village. The Ministry of Justice is the responsibility of the Judiciary, the Attorney General and the Public Trust and Custody Real Enemy.

At the end of 1959, another newly established Ministry called the Ministry of Homeland Security in charge of the Police Federation of Malaya and the Department of Border Security. Then in September 1959, the Y.B. Dato 'Suleiman bin Dato' Abdul Rahman was appointed as the Minister of Home Affairs, YB Dato 'Dr. Ismail bin Dato 'Abdul Rahman as Minister of Home Affairs and the Honourable Tun Leong Yew Koh as Minister of Justice.

On August 1, 1962, took place about the restructuring of the Cabinet in which YB Dato 'Dr. Ismail bin Dato 'Abdul Rahman was appointed as the Minister of Internal Security and Home Affairs Minister. In 1965, the Internal Security Ministry was abolished and merged with the Ministry of the Interior, which later changed its name to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Ministry of Home Affairs).

However, on June 1, 1967, Tun Dr. Ismail bin Dato 'Abdul Rahman resigned and he is replaced by Tun Abdul Razak bin Dato' Hussein as Minister of Home Affairs, as well as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National and Rural Development and Minister of Defence.

Following the bloody events on May 13, 1969 which is also known as the May 13 incident, emergency was declared and the National Operations Council (NOC) was formed to govern the country with YAB Tun Abdul Razak as director. On May 20, 1969, the Honorable Tun Dr. Ismail has returned to be a member of the Cabinet and was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs. Then on September 23, 1970, the Honorable Tun Abdul Razak had set up his own Cabinet minister, including 18 Ministers and 7 Assistant Minister or Deputy Minister. YAB Tun Dr. Ismail was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs.

On August 13, 1973, YB Tan Sri Muhammad Ghazali Shafie was appointed as the Minister of Home Affairs to replace the Honourable Tun Dr. Ismail, who died on August 2, 1973 while YB Datuk Abdul Samad bin Idris was appointed as Deputy Minister.

In 1977, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible for 6 Department of the Royal Malaysian Police, Immigration Department, the Registrar of Societies, the National Registration Department, Prisons Department and the Department of Aboriginal Affairs. Ministry of Internal Affairs is also responsible for the War of Nerves and Control Team changed its name to the Malaysian People's Volunteer Corps or RELA.

In 1979, another department placed in the responsibility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the former Central Narcotics Bureau is under the care of the Ministry of Law. In 1980, a secretariat was established to facilitate the administration of the Central Narcotics Bureau and the Secretariat has become one of the few parts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Narcotics Secretariat was then known as the Drug Secretariat, which is the secretariat to the Executive Task Unit.

The latest development in the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in 1981 another part of the establishment called The Recovery and Mobility nerves.

After YB Tan Sri Muhammad Ghazali Shafie, YAB Dato 'Musa Hitam has been appointed as the Minister of State from July 17, 1981 until March 16, 1986, where he is also the Deputy Prime Minister at the time. Next, the Honorable Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is also the Prime Minister took over the 4th portfolio of Minister of State from March 17 1986 until January 10, 1999.

Beginning January 14, 1999, the Honourable Dato 'Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi was leading the Ministry of Interior to 27 March 2004 On 27 March 2004, the Ministry of Home Affairs has split into two Ministries, namely the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of State Security. YB Dato 'Azmi bin Khalid has led the Ministry of Internal Affairs from March 27, 2004 until February 13, 2006.

Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the most senior and important ministries are responsible for ensuring that policies, laws and regulations relating to nationality and country of registration in accordance with the current needs of the country.

Due to the heavy duties and responsibilities, then the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to enhance the quality of service to the community and the country in line with the policy of "People-Friendly Service" and strive to make this ministry as the "Ministry of Example And Direct Excellence, Glory and Distinction" .

On February 14, 2006, the Cabinet reshuffle was announced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato 'Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, in which there is a change leader for the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This ministry is led by Y.B. Dato 'Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad Bin.

On March 18, 2008, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato 'Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi has included creating portfolios Interior Ministry after incorporating the Security Ministry. This ministry is led by Y.B. Dato 'Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia - FINAS - The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia was established in 1981 by an Act of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia 1981 (Amendment 1984) Act 244 (Amendment of Act A589). Finas began operations on 1 November 1981 under the Ministry of Trade and Industry Malaysia. Beginning October 16, 1986, Finas was placed under the Ministry of Information. Then, beginning on March 27, 2004, Finas was placed under the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage (folder). From 9 April 2009, Finas was placed under the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture (MICC). On May 15, 2013, Finas was placed under the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Commission.

On 6 April 2012, the Cabinet agreed with the proposed merger with Finas Film Negara Malaysia (FNM) and led by Finas.

Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers is to amend Act 244 to introduce a new function to disseminate information on policies, programs and achievements of the government, through the production of film and record coverage of events for archival purposes.

Finas merger with the National Film Malaysia (FNM) came into force on January 1, 2013.

Majlis Daerah Kubang Pasu - In the year 1989, the Kubang Pasu District Local Authority Council or Majlis Daerah Kubang Pasu has been change its name to the Kubang Pasu District Council as have been approved under Section3, THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1976 (ACT 171). There are 21 areas in the district of Kubang Pasu.

The birth of Kubang Pasu is because of Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Halim Shah II, the Sultan of Kedah (1804-1843) was presented to the district because Tunku Anum beat back his honor and free from the clutches of the Siamese Kedah and put back Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Halim Shah II on the throne. Tunku Anum name a new state as "Kubang Pasu Darul Qiyyam" or "Stand Strong State".

Kubang Pasu district's northernmost state of Kedah Darul Aman. It is bordered by Thailand to the north, Annotated district to the east, in the southern district of Kota Setar, Perlis Indera Kayangan and the Strait of Malacca to the west.

Kubang Pasu district has an area of 94.596 hectares (945,971 sq km). Most of the land area of ??Kubang Pasu has flat land with some hills in the east. 35% (33.773 ha) of land in Kubang Pasu district in the MADA area, while 65% (60,824 hectares) located outside the MADA. There are 21 parishes in the district of Kubang Pasu.

Jawatan Kosong Sungai Petani - Majlis Perbandaran Sungai Petani, The early history of the Local Government system setup in Sungai Petani began in the 50's, when the Local Council Ordinance 1952 was approved and adopted. Then, in year 1953, the Sungai Petani Town Board for Sungai Petani town administration was established.On 1 August 1975, the Kuala Muda Local Government District Council (MDKT.KM) was established encompassing Sungai Lalang, Jeniang, Merbok, Bukit Selambau, Bedong and Gurun areas.

On 1 February 1978, the Kuala Muda District Council (MDKM) was established to replace MDKT.KM.Sungai Petani once again was upgraded to Municipal Council on 2 July 1994 equivalent to 22 Muharram 1415H.With this upgrade, Sungai Petani Municipal Council (MPSPK) is fully responsible on the development control, licensing, planning, providing infrastructure facilities and many more to ensure of the town development and wellbeing of residents in Sungai Petani town specifically and Kuala Muda generally.
