The initiative to establish Kolej Islam Malaya in 1955, two years prior to Malaysia’s independence was a brave decision made through royal assent by the Conference of Malay Rulers in seeking to improve the understanding of Islam among Muslims in Malaya. The Muslim community then, was only exposed to traditional forms of Islamic teaching, rendering it somewhat isolated from the development of a modern society. Islamic education was largely separated from the teaching of science, humanities and technology. The establishment of Kolej Islam Malaya was as such a starting point in breaking this archaic ideology and mentality. Its formation began to impart upon Malaysian Muslims the beauty and secrets of Islam in more progressive and modern manners.

The most important objective of Kolej Islam Malaya was to harmonize the relationships among Malaysians of various ethnicities through a more universal style and system of Islamic teaching. At the same time, Kolej Islam Malaya sought to assist in the administration of the country since its independence in 1957.

While the College has undergone several evolutions, the spirit that led to its genesis remains very much in need. Thus, the Conference of Malay Rulers has agreed for its continuation albeit with a new identity, resulting in Islamic University of Malaysia’s (UIM’s) mandate to be the replacing of Kolej Islam Malaya (KIM). It is envisioned that this new identity will assist the University in facing the challenges of a new environment and culture that is vastly different from that in 1955. With the will of Allah SWT, UIM will thrive in the present age of universal values and great diversity, as well as future demands.

Temuduga Terbuka PUO - Politeknik Ungku Omar or Ungku Omar Polytechnic is a Malaysian polytechnic situated on Jalan Dairy, Ipoh which was named after the late Dr. Ungku Omar bin Ungku Ahmad. It was established by the Malaysian Ministry of Education with help from UNESCO in 1969. It also received RM24.5 million funding from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). UNESCO was responsible for its construction. Ungku Omar Polytechnic is the oldest polytechnic in Malaysia.

Ungku Omar Polytechnic was established in 1969 by the Malaysian Ministry of Education, aided by UNESCO. A total of RM24.5 million was allocated by the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP). UNESCO was assigned with the responsibility of planning and executing the polytechnic's construction on an area of 22.6 hectars at Dairy Road, Ipoh. The polytechnic was named after the late Dato' Professor Ungku Omar Ahmad, in recognition of his valuable contributions to the nation, especially in the field of medical research.

Initially, this polytechnic was housed at the Daily Training Centre (DTC), Ipoh building which came to be known later as Maktab Perguruan Kinta. For the first batch of 300 students, lectures were held beginning from 2 June 1969. At that time, the academic workforce consisted of 28 local lecturers, who were assisted by 14 volunteers from Canada, United States of America, Germany and Japan. Towards the end of 1973, the polytechnic shifted to its new campus and was officiated on 10 May 1974 by the then Minister of Education, the late Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein.

During the early stages, the polytechnic only had four academic departments, namely the Civil Engineering Department, Electrical Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department and Commerce Department, which offered various academic programmes at diploma and certificate levels. In 1972, the Marine Engineering Department was formed and this department only offered one diploma level academic programme. On 1 March 1999, two academic units were upgraded as departments. The Mathematics and Science Unit was upgraded as the Mathematics, Science and Computer Department. The Language and Religious Unit was upgraded as General Studies Department. In January 1999, the Information Technology Programme was offered for the first time under the Electrical Engineering Department. In July 1999, the coordination of Information Technology Programme was taken over by the Mathematics, Science and Computer Department. In January 2007, the Information and Communications Technology Department began to coordinate the Information Technology Programme.

Jawatan Kosong MACA - The establishment of Akademi Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia or Malaysia Anti – Corruption Academy (MACA) was announced by Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the 4th steering committee meeting of ADB-OECD Anti Corruption Initiative for Asia and the Pacific held in Kuala Lumpur. In general MACA will be the regional hub for anti –corruption capacity and capability building to fight corruption by promoting best practices in investigation, monitoring and enforcement and venturing in new areas such as forensic accounting and forensic engineering.

Many international institutions and organizations have agreed to cooperate with Malaysia in developing anti-corruption programmes including conducting the courses, trainings, seminars and workshops annually that would cater for the Asia Pacific region. This is made possible through the bilateral and multilateral networkings with other enforcement agencies in the region such as the ICAC Hong Kong, FBI, BMR Brunei Darussalam, KICAC (Republic of Korea), CPIB Singapore, NCCC Thailand and many others. Through these programmes, it is hoped that MACA will become an important anti-corruption learning and training centre in the Asia-Pacific region.

The establishment of MACA will enhance the competency and professionalism of the Anti-Corruption Agency officers. MACA will be responsible for preparing the courses in various fields such as investigation, prosecution, Intelligence, prevention, financial management, security, leadership, training for trainers and information technology.This is in line with the government’s intention to improve the capacity and capability of the Anti Corruption Agency (ACA) in the fight against corruption and to improve public service delivery system. Through MACA’s training programmes, the ACA officers would be more competent to carry out their duties more efficiently and speedily to combat corruption. The academy, the first of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region will also act as a principal anti-corruption training center. The establishment of this academy reflects the seriousness and commitment of the Malaysian government to combat corruption and also as part of its contribution to the international community in the global fight against corruption.

  1. To strengthen the independence, transparency and professionalism of MACC officers in executing their duties;
  2. To enhance the accountability and integrity of MACC officers through effective and continuous training programmes;

Jawatan Kosong Yayasan Pelajaran Johor - YPJ

Jawatan Kosong YPJ - Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (YPJ) or Johor State Government in 1982 established a foundation named Yayasan Pelajaran Johor through Enactment No. 8 in 1982 in order to manage the financing needs of loan/scholarships for Johor’s students who qualified to continue their studies at higher education institutions within and outside the country. The effort to establishing this foundation with those objectives is currently considered very important since the number of students who are capable in Johor are increased, hence needs to set up a special organization to organize the loans and scholarships for them.

Funding assistance in the form of loans and scholarships for students of the state of Johor has a long history. In 50s and 60s where the number of students who continue their education at higher education institutions are small, the state put the responsibility of organizing loans / scholarships under the administration of the office of State Secretary of Johor. Among the scholarships that the government had released at that time was the Sultan Ibrahim Scholarship, Memories of Dato 'Onn Scholarship and Johor State Administrative Service Scholarship. When the number of students increased, Yayasan Pelajaran Johor was established by Enactment No. 8 of 1982. Managing the production of loans / scholarships still remain under the administration of the State Secretary of Johor. Almost all the funding assistance available through the results of timber concessions and state government borrowing. Started in 1986, Yayasan Pelajaran Johor moved as one entity and be relieved from the administration of office the State Secretary of Johor. Yayasan Pelajaran Johor initial activity as described, focused on the acquisition of timber concessions as well as acquisition-cost less than other economic activities.

Starting from a simple economic activity, Yayasan Pelajaran Johor was able to move a wide variety of larger economies projects. Among them include hotels, tourism centers, housing programs, farms and investments stock. The result of the Yayasan Pelajaran Johor’s investment of about RM5 million a year in 1983 has now increased to more than RM25 million for 1993 and Yayasan Pelajaran Johor is expected to have more than RM35 million in 1994.

However, the economic activities of Yayasan Pelajaran Johor can’t be moved smoothly because in view of a government agency, its activities and the role of officers who served with him is still a strong subject to various rules and regulations by the government, Yayasan Pelajaran Johor Board has meet dated 26th May 1992 to review the function of Yayasan Pelajaran Johor and to find a way so that it can operate as a commercial entity.

Jawatan Kosong MD Marang - Majlis Daerah Marang or Marang District Council was established on January 1, 1981 when all Local Municipality Administration were restructured. In the early stage of its establishment, Marang District Council only consists of two (2) counties namely Rusila and Pulau Kerengga. The land area is 43.10 square kilometer consisting of 13 villages.

Various stories and fairy tales have been associated with the origin of the Marang district name. Interestingly, among others, it was believed to be derived from the name of a Chinese trader who was very famous once upon a time. His name was Ma and he stayed in the river confluence. It was said that he was a trader of dried sea products such as fish and squid. At that time, there were sea products called "rang" by the locals, abundantly left under the sun for drying near his residence. It was believed that, it was the large number of “rang” and the fame of the Chinese trader named Ma that made up the name Marang which remains to date.

The history of the Marang district administration began before the reign of Baginda Omar (1839-1876). This was in the knowledge of the district leaders appointed by Tuanku Al-Sultan. The administration by the district leaders was based on the river district administration. During the reign of Sultan Zainal Abidin III from 1881 to 1918 M, Yang Dipertuan Muda Tengku Mohamad was given the authority to look after the Sungai Marang area, while Tengku Putra, represented by his wife, who was the Princess of Tengku Long and Tengku Safiah was authorised to look after the Sungai Merchang area. They were responsible for tax and revenue collection. The penghulus (chiefs) had no governing power. Their authority was limited to only certain villages.

In 1912, the district administrative system by the district leaders was then granted to District Officers who governed based on the river district administration. The district officer appointed was to administer the river district areas under Marang district including Merchang.

In 1923, during the reign of Sultan Sulaiman Badrul Alam Shah from 1920 to 1942, the first British Advisor in Terengganu, J.L. Hunphreys introduced a new provincial administration system, where the districts of Kuala Terengganu, Kuala Berang and Marang were placed under the purview of Jajahan Tengah (Central Colony) with its administrative centre being in Kuala Terengganu. The other districts such as Kemaman, Kemasik, Paka and Dungun were placed under Jajahan Timur (East Colony) with the administrative centre being in Kemaman. Meanwhile, Besut and Setiu were placed under Jajahan Barat (West Colony) with the administrative centre being in Kampung Raja. Each district was led by a Commissioner, assisted by a British Assistant Advisor and the respective District Officers.

To further streamline the administration of the districts, the first Marang district office building was first built in 1915 based on the Johor District Office model. Based on oral information, the first Marang District Office Building was built on the riverside estuary of Sungai Marang (Marang River).

Marang has an area of 666 km². The district's topography consists of the South China Sea coast, peat swamps, hills and plains. The sub-districts (Malay: mukim) of Rusila, Pulau Kerengga and Merchang lie on the coast with sandy plains gradually giving way to hills in the interior. The Jerong sub-district is mainly hilly, while the sub-districts of Bukit Payong and Alor Limbat consist of rolling plains and peat swamps. The district's population of 84,938 (2000 census) is 97.2% rural and predominantly Malays (97.2%) while the Chinese are the biggest ethnic minority (2.6%).

Jawatan Kosong Kipsas - Kewujudan Kolej Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah (KIPSAS) is an excellent starting point towards the development and progress of Islamic higher education in the state. Its history began on August 27, 1996 when the State Council approved the establishment of ideas . Initially , KIPSAS tertiary channels cater for students of the state religious school leavers to further their studies at tertiary institutions . Taking the first 67 students were initiated upon receipt of a decision from the Ministry of Education .

The college is synonymous with HRH Sultan of Pahang , Sultan Ahmad Shah Al - Musta'in Billah , son of the late Sultan Abu Bakar was officially opened by His Majesty on 16 November 2000 as 19 Sha'ban 1421H . The Sultan of Pahang became a symbol and emblem of the glory of this college in the state .

From April 1998 KIPSAS registered as a private higher education institutions but fully under the auspices of state subsidiaries , Islamic Education System Education Private Limited ( SPIPSB ) . College offers opportunities diploma has gained approval from the Ministry of Education, Malaysia in 1996 . This means that the state government provide for a commitment to KIPSAS primarily through an annual allocation of grants . College is built on a land area of ??about 41 acres at a cost of RM41 million, which included administrative buildings, academic buildings , libraries, blocks of student hostels, cafeteria , large halls , sports complexes, residence of the President and lecturers / staff and was completed in February 2000. Stretches for 600 acres of land has also been provided by the Gujarat state government to support the growth and development as an asset to KIPSAS . While there is a mosque almost RM10 million as a landmark college pride .

The year 2006 was the tenth year of the establishment of KIPSAS , and this marks the college 's has nearly a decade of excellence in higher education have driven the Muslims in the state and produce quality human capital and in accordance with the aspirations of the job market .

Jawatan Kosong Lembaga Koko - Lembaga Koko Malaysia or The Malaysian Cocoa Board (MCB) is a federal statutory research and development agency under the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Comodities (previously called Ministry of Primary Industries Malaysia). It was established under the Act of Parliament 343(incorporated) in 1988 and has been in operation since 1989. The main objective is to develop the cocoa industry in Malaysia to be well integrated and competitive in the global market. Emphasis is given to increasing productivity and efficiency in cocoa bean production and increasing downstream activities.

The main functions of MCB cover:-
  1. To conduct and promote research on production, processing, storage and consumption;
  2. To conduct and coordinate activities and policies on research;
  3. To improve quality;
  4. To regulate marketing activities;
  5. To collect and disseminate information;
  6. To supervise and coordinate cocoa related activities that cover processing, storage, regulatory and marketing.
Research and Development
Research and Development (R&D) is the major activities of MCB. Research programmes and projects are carried out to address the various problems and needs of the cocoa planting and downstream industry. The objectives are to acquire knowhow and to develop technologies and planting materials that could lead to increase in productivity, reduction in production cost and labour requirement, improvement in the quality of cocoa beans and cocoa products, development of new range of cocoa products and new uses as well as enhancement in competitive edge of Malaysian cocoa beans and cocoa products.

Market Development and Techno-Economy
The objective of market development is to increase market share of Malaysian cocoa beans and cocoa products in the international and domestic market. The activities include international and domestic promotion. International promotion is carried out through trade and technical missions, and international expositions. Domestic promotion is undertaken through cocoa fairs, school promotion programme and exhibitions. Goodness of cocoa is the main theme for promotion. Whereas, the techno-economy programme is to look at the economics of production from raw cocoa beans up to the final cocoa products through R&D and census. Information on cocoa prices, market situation and other related statistics are made available for use by the industry.

Regulatory and Quality Control
Licensing and grading is carried out to ensure the quality of Malaysian cocoa beans to meet the required Malaysian standards. MCB undertakes to license wet cocoa bean processors, cocoa traders, cocoa grinders and cocoa graders. It is also the responsibility of MCB to set guidelines and standards for cocoa beans and cocoa products, and regulatory.

Target Groups Development
MCB will continue to implement the programme for target groups development which include cocoa smallholders and handmade chocolate entrepreneurs. The target groups development programme is an integrated part of the extension and development programme of MCB. The main objective of the smallholder development programme is to increase the productivity of the cocoa smallholders from less than 0.5 tonne/ha/year to 1.5 tonne/ha/year. The activities include visits, meetings, supply of planting materials and incentives, and training on planting technology and quality management. Whereas the objective of handmade chocolate entrepreneurs development programme is to establish Malaysian entrepreneurs that involve in handmade chocolate industry. The activities are transfer of technology, development of products and machinery, center of chocolate couverture supply, marketing and promotions, and technical and advisory services.

Extension and Transfer of Technology
Workshops, seminars, field visits, demonstrations and training courses on cocoa planting technology, chocolate making and product development among others are the activities for extension and transfer of technology undertaken by MCB.

Technical and Advisory Services
MCB offers technical and advisory services to the cocoa planting and downstream industry. The laboratory and pilot plant at the Cocoa Downstream Research Centre, Bandar Baru Bangi of MCB are equipped to provide services on physical, chemical and microbiological analyses of cocoa beans and cocoa products and used for research on cocoa processing and product development respectively.

" There shall be a Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Selangor and called in English ' Council of Religion and Malay Customs Selangor .

Establishment of the Council when it is intended to advise the Sultan on matters pertaining to the Islamic Religious and Malay Customs .

The name and identity of the body is then converted to a body corporate by the name of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council based on section 5 ( 1 ) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Selangor ) Enactment 2003 as follows:

" The Council shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and the seal may from time to time be broken , changed and altered or made anew as the Council thinks fit , and , until a seal is provided under this section, previous Council seal may be used as the common seal of the Council. "

Jawatan Kosong Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia - MPM

Jawatan Kosong MPM - Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia - MPM or The Malaysian Examinations Council (MEC), which was established on 1 February 1980 under the Malaysian Examinations Council Act (Act 225), is a statutory body which operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Education. It was officially launched on 22 April 1980 by the then Minister of Education, Dato' Musa bin Hitam. The objectives of the establishment of MEC are to conduct specified examinations and all other matters necessary or related to such examinations. The examination gazetted is the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), which was first implemented in 1982 to replace the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan (STP) examinations which were conducted by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES).

After the takeover of the STP and HSC examinations by the MEC, the names of the examinations were changed to Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM). The MEC was also established to realise the aim of conducting the examination wholly in the Malay language. This is in line with the implementation of the policy to use Malay language as the medium of instruction in the national education system from the primary level to the pre-university level, namely the sixth form.

Since its establishment, the MEC's scope of responsibilities has expanded from its initial function of conducting only the STPM examination. In 1999, it was tasked with conducting the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) which is held twice a year. This test is compulsory for all students who intend to continue their studies in public institutions of higher learning. In addition, the MEC also conducts the Malaysian Information Technology Professional Examination (MITPE) on behalf of Multimedia Technology Enhancement Operations Sdn Bhd (METEOR). This examination enables IT graduates and professionals to secure worldwide recognition in the field of IT. From 2008, the MEC conducts the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test for the Ministry of Higher Education. This psychometric test is held twice a year to assess the personality of students and graduates who wish to pursue educational programmes to become educators. From 2009, the MEC conducted the Malaysian University Selection Inventory (MUnSYI) test on behalf of Universiti Sains Malaysia. In 2010, MEC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) to conduct Shariah Registered Financial Planner, Shariah Registered Financial Planner Capstone, and Shariah Registered Financial Planner Ad-hoc, and Registered Financial Planner Capstone.

In 1979 , the Civil Defence Ordinance ( 1951 ) was amended by adding the responsibility of providing disaster relief services in peace until today .

Civil defense functions are :
  • Train as many people who have knowledge in security and civil defense .
  • Manage , establish, maintain , equip , train, and discipline of the armed and civil defense services .
  • Doing disaster relief or protection to ensure the safety of life, person or property or the civilian population in the event of impending disaster and facilitate recovery after the disaster victims .
Civil defense motto is " Quick Set Integrity " . According to the Civil Defence Act 1951 ( Act 221 ) , civil defense case is divided into two situations, either peace or war. 

During the war
Means any measure that does not involve the use of weapons for hostile attack if steps are taken before , during or after the attack of the enemy. 

During in Peace 
Means any measures taken to protect lives and property if steps are taken before , during or after a disaster. Based on 221 of the Act can be understood that the Civil Defence works in peacetime , wartime and disaster victims by taking whatever steps to rescue, protect and reduce the loss of life and damage to civilian property.

Jawatan Kosong Lembaga Urus Air Selangor - LUAS

Jawatan Kosong LUAS - Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) or Selangor Waters Management Authority (SWMA) started from the Cabinet Minister’s order in July 1997 which directed the Agricultural Ministry and thereafter the Selangor State Government to set up an agency responsible in managing river and water sources in an integrated manner under which Selangor River was selected as part of a pilot project modeled from Thames River in United Kingdom as a model. SWMA was launched on 18th of September 1999 by Y.A.B Dato’ Seri (Dr) Hj. Abu Hassan Bin Hj. Omar, the then Selangor State’s Chief Minister cum the first chairman of SWMA’s Board of Directors. Ir. Hj. Rahmat bin Hj. Mohd Sharif, the then Deputy Director of state’s Department of Irrigation and Drainage was appointed as the first SWMA’s director on 15th of September 1999. SWMA officially operates on 1st August 2000 with the recruitment of 13 nucleus officers.

Establishment of Selangor Water Management Authority (SWMA ) starting from the direction of the Cabinet in July 1997, which requested the Ministry of Agriculture , the next State Government to review the proposal to establish a body to manage rivers and water resources in an integrated manner taking into Sungai Selangor as a pilot project and the River " Thames " in the United Kingdom as a model for implementation .

Accordingly, the coordination role and jurisdiction of the state and federal government agencies have been made to ensure there was no duplication of functions and responsibilities as well as the smooth running of this body . Then WIDE established through the approval of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly convened on 9 April 1999. The establishment is equipped with a LUAS Enactment of Selangor Water Management Authority Enactment 1999.

AREA launched on 18 September 1999 , the Minister of Selangor at that time, Dato 'Seri ( Dr) Hj . Abu Hassan Bin Hj . Omar , who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors WIDE first. Ir . Hj . Rahmat bin Hj . Mohd Sharif , Deputy Director of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, has been appointed as the first Director of WIDE began on 15 September 1999. AREA officially began operations on August 1, 2000 with the hiring of staff ' nucleus ' of 13 .

AREA Board chaired by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra . The Honourable Secretary of the State Government as Deputy Chairman and Secretary AREA own . While the members of the Board consists of State Legal Adviser , State Financial Officer , 3 members of the State Executive Council appointed Director General Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia and five persons appointed on the basis of their expertise in the areas of resource management water .

WIDE is an agency of the Selangor water resources management is also a leading agency pioneering state water resources management . With the advent of the Selangor Water Management Authority Enactment 1999, the LUAS equipped with the legislative and enforcement responsibilities and functions effectively .

AREA responsibility to ensure that the state's water resources , including river basins , groundwater and surface , lakes, ponds and old mines , and coastal Selangor to always be in a state reserved. The functions and responsibilities are carried out by AREA approach Integrated River Basin Management (IRBM ) and Integrated Coastal Management approach (ICM ) .

In 2010 , WIDE experiencing restructuring divisions and units as approved by the Board. Some new units created in the AREA to strengthen the management and services . A total of 58 new employees absorbed starting on February 1, 2011 . These positive developments as well as providing new energy to keep moving fast WIDE performance of its functions , as well as provide excellent service in order to achieve its mission and vision .

Jawatan Kosong JAIPP Pinang - Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Pulau Pinang - JAIPP is a council established by virtue of section 4 of the Administrative Law Islamic scholars in 1959 to advise His Majesty the President-General on matters related to Islam.Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Pulau Pinang role is to create a community of faith, piety, and dynamic with Islam as a way of life. It also serves to uphold justice in accordance with the laws of Islam and the control and eradication of apostasy, heresy, disobedience, sin, superstitions and thoughts that affect the purity of Islam.
