Jawatan Kosong Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia - TLDM

Written By Unknown on September 29, 2014 | 2:39 AM

Jawatan Kosong TLDM - Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM) or The Royal Malaysian Navy starts with the formation of the Tentera Laut Sukarelawan Simpanan Negeri Selat (TLSSNS) – Straits Settlement Naval Volunteer Reserve – which was established by the British colonial government in Malaya on 27 April 1934 in Singapore. TLSSNS established to assist the Royal Navy to defend the Malayan waters and volatility due to political developments in Asia where the Japanese Empire is expanding its power and influence. When World War 2 broke out in Europe, TLSSNS has increased recruitment to strengthen the defense of Malaya as the assets of the Royal Navy’s European operations needed in the field. TLSSNS also been deployed for active service as a unit of Royal Navy Malay Section, or Malay Navy with a total strength of 400 members. This group was trained in a training camp HMS Pelandok. Malay Navy membership later increased to 1450 people when the war broke out in Southeast Asia.

The Royal Malaysian Navy can trace its roots to the formation of the Straits Settlement Naval Volunteer Reserve (SSNVR) in Singapore on 27 April 1934 by the British colonial government in Singapore. The SSNVR was formed to assist the Royal Navy in the defence of Singapore, upon which the defence of the Malay Peninsula was based. Another reason behind its formation were political developments in Asia, particularly a Japan that was increasingly assertive in Asia. In 1938, the SSNVR was expanded with a branch in Penang.

On 18 January 1935, the British Admiralty presented Singapore with an Acacia class sloop, HMS Laburnum, to serve as the Reserve's Headquarters and drill ship. It was berthed at the Telok Ayer Basin. HMS Laburnum was sunk in February 1942, prior to the capitulation of Singapore at the beginning of the Pacific Second World War.

With the outbreak of the Second World War in Europe, the SSNVR increased the recruitment of mainly indigenous personnel into the force, to beef up local defences as Royal Navy resources were required in Europe.

Members of the SSNVR were called up to active duty, and the force was augmented by members of the Royal Navy Malay Section. This formed the basis of the navy in Malaya, called the Malay Navy, manned by indigenous Malay personnel (similarly, the Malays were recruited into the fledgling Malay Regiment formed in 1936). The Malay Navy had a strength of 400 men who received their training at HMS Pelandok, the Royal Navy training establishment in Malaya. Recruitment was increased and in 1941 at the outbreak of the war in Asia, the Malay Navy had a strength of 1450 men.

Throughout the Second World War, the Malay Navy served with the Allied Forces in the Indian and Pacific theater of operations. When the war ended with the Japanese Surrender in 1945, only 600 personnel of the Malay Navy reported for muster. Post war economic constraints saw the disbandment of the Malay Navy in 1947.

Jawatan Kosong Lembaga Perumahan Melaka - LPM

Jawatan Kosong LPM - Lembaga Perumahan Melaka (LPM) is a government agency established in Melaka 17/12/2002 through Malacca Housing Board Enactment (ELPM) 2002 in the gazette on 17.12.2002 as Government Gazette Volume 46 No. 25 of 2002. Prior to the Housing Authority of Malacca established , it is located under the Housing and Local Government Units.

It all started sprawling back to 751 years ago (1262) when Parameswara found Melaka in the 14th century. He was resting under a tree by a river when his dog started to attack a mouse deer, which later pushed the dog into the river. The brave gesture of the mouse deer had impressed him to immediately build a city on its spot. He then asked his followers the name of the tree which he was resting under, and was advised of its name; Melaka. He named the state ‘Melaka’ since then. None of any other cities in the nation had played such an influential and vital role in the political, economic, cultural and social development of the country and the region. Melaka Sultanate was also established to be responsible for the Sultanate in many states in Malaysia.

During that period, Islam was introduced in the region, arriving along with Gujarat traders from Western India for trading textiles and Melaka became known worldwide as a center for silk and porcelain trading. During the first decade of the 16th century, Melaka was a bustling and cosmopolitan port that attracted hundreds of ships every year.

Malaysia gained its independence on the 31st of August 1957 when the first Prime Minister, His Highness Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, was handed over the power to rule the country by the British.

After the Independence, a colonial building built by British in Melaka, which was known as Malacca Club, was opened to public after being used by the British upper class as their place for social activities. Exactly 38 years later, the same building was turned into The Proclamation of Independence Memorial; a place that commemorates Independence Day of Malaysia.

On 1957, Lembaga Perusahaan Nanas Tanah Melayu (LPNTM) was established under the 1957 Pineapple Industry Ordinance, currently known as Lembaga Perindustrian Nanas Malaysia (LPNM) / Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board which carries the role to manage and develop Malaysian Pineapple Industry.

Pineapple canning Industry has the second highest export after watermelon in the tropical fruit category. With the existence of agency responsible to carry out pineapple industry research and development, Malaysia is capable of producing high quality product that can survive in the mainstream market.

Malaysian pineapple industry is supported by the government in aspect of land development policy. The smallholder and farm sector is given priority by the government through the implementation of development and industrial support program.

A few strategies have been arranged based on long term planning that was organized. LPNM/MPIB focus is to open new land and increase productivity and to handle the fruit shortage issue faced by factories.

Global globalization and world economy integrations mean rivals will become the main element in deciding the success and longevity of Malaysian pineapple industry.

Besides being responsible in controlling and developing the industry, LPNM/MPIB needs to consider efficiency, productivity, competitiveness and production technology, marketing and trading as well as organizing strategy based on policy that has been set by the government to ensure that the arrangement is more sustainable and effective.
