Jawatan Kosong Prasarana - Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) is a wholly-owned Government company established by the Ministry of Finance, set up to facilitate, undertake and expedite public infrastructure projects approved by the Government.
Effective January 1, 2013, Prasarana undertook a major restructuring exercise with the establishment of four new strategic business units - Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd for bus operations; Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd for rail operations; Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, or PRIME, for manage-ment and consultancy services in projects management and development; and Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd, or PRIDE, in undertaking commercial and property projects via joint venture companies on lands assigned to Prasarana by the Government.
Within the Group, Prasarana continues to have under its wings the Project Development Division, which is currently responsible for two key infra-structure projects - the LRT Line Extension Project for both the Ampang and Kelana Jaya Lines; and the new Bus Rapid Transit - Sunway Line, which are expected to provide massive impact in the efforts to further elevate the standard of public transportation services for Klang Valley.
Incorporated in 1998 by the Ministry of Finance, the Government-owned Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) was set up to facilitate, undertake and expedite public infrastructure projects. Prasarana and its group of companies are also asset-owners and operators of the Ampang and Kelana Jaya light rail transit (LRT) lines, KL Monorail, as well as bus operations in the Klang Valley, Penang and Kuantan.
