Jawatan Kosong MAIS - Majlis Agama Islam Selangor - MAIS is a corporate entity (a body corporate ) in accordance with Section 5 ( 1 ) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Selangor ) Enactment 2003 . terms of operation and management , MAIS is a statutory body which runs the affairs of the State relating to Islam in Selangor . MAIS Chairman recent ( 2009) was Dato ' Setia Haji Mohamad Bin Mohd Isa Adzib . One of the departments under the MAIS is the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS )
At its inception, the Selangor Islamic Religious Council ( MAIS ) is known as a permanent body called the Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Maharashtra . It was established under section 5 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act 1952 ( Enactment No . 3 of 1952) as follows:
" There shall be a Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Selangor and called in English ' Council of Religion and Malay Customs Selangor .
Establishment of the Council when it is intended to advise the Sultan on matters pertaining to the Islamic Religious and Malay Customs .
The name and identity of the body is then converted to a body corporate by the name of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council based on section 5 ( 1 ) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Selangor ) Enactment 2003 as follows:
" The Council shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and the seal may from time to time be broken , changed and altered or made anew as the Council thinks fit , and , until a seal is provided under this section, previous Council seal may be used as the common seal of the Council. "
MAIS is a corporate entity (a body corporate ) in accordance with Section 5 ( 1 ) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Selangor ) Enactment 2003 .
On March 1, 2005 , Administrative Management Division treasury ( BPB ) was transferred from the Selangor Islamic Religious Department ( Jais ) to MAIS and MAIS was confirmed by a meeting on 14 April 2005.
Isolation is meeting the needs provisions of Section 81 ( 3 ) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Selangor ) Enactment 2003 which states that the MAIS the power to govern and entitled to all the money and property treasury .
