Johor State Government Administration was first established in 1855 , when Temenggong Ibrahim opened in Cape Town Iskandar Princess Princess . Statement of Johor Government Fund was first published in 1899 which reported revenue and expenses . In 1901 , the Treasury has been given a new name , the Treasury and Revenue .

Functions and strategies

Jawatan Kosong Kampar - Majlis Daerah Kampar is one of the ten administrative districts of Perak, Malaysia It was a district on 21 May 2009 after the Sultan of Perak declared Kampar the state’s 10th district. Its local government is Kampar District Council (Majlis Daerah Kampar), based in the town of Kampar.According to population growth, the District Council (Majlis Daerah) can be enlarged to Municipal Council (Majlis Perbandaran) and finally to City Council (Majlis Bandaraya).In Malaysia, there are only three cities administered by City Hall, in Kuala Lumpur, Kuching North (Kuching Utara) and Kota Kinabalu. Other cities in the country are administered by City Council (Majlis Bandaraya).
Historically, Kampar District was once famous for its tin, being one of the major tin producers in the 18th century. In the 19th century, Kinta district was famous for its tin. It was the number one tin producing valley in the world.

Kampar refers to Bandar Kampar and the surrounding area of 10-20 square miles. Early exploration and settlement in Kampar are linked to the discovery of tin ore, hence it is no surprise that there are thoughts that ‘Kampar was developed on tin ore and up to the present day, tin ore is still being mined although at a lower intensity as a result of the declining market for tin.

From a geographical and geological viewpoint, Kampar is located within the radius of Lembah Kinta, its position resembling a crater at the foot-end of Gunung Bujang Melaka that is irrigated by Sungai Keranji dan Sungai Kampar which comprises alluvial soil that is rich with tin metals. These rivers cause the soil and gravel that contains tin metal to settle at the river banks and base. This process happened millions of years ago, making this area abound with mounds of tin ore.

In earlier days, mining activity in Kampar was carried out by digging small holes to obtain soil that contains ore and panning along the river banks of Sungai Keranji and Sungai Kampar as well as low water catchment areas. This traditional method was premoninantly carried out by the Chinese whereas the Europeans improved economic activities surrounding tin ore mining by introducing the pump way hearth and dredge. Both methods increased the production of tin ore and contributed to creating job opportunities to the people of Kampar and its vicinity. This continued up until the decline in the market for tin early 1983.

Early settlers in Kampar and the rapidly growing mining industry has induced the influx of migrants especially from Mainland China and those residing in Penang and Taiping to start their new lives in Kampar as miners, businessmen, etc.

Today Kampar has developed as Daerah Kecil Gopeng's administrative centre and Kampar as the financial and business centre for the surrounding population. The necessary facilities and infrastructure has been provided by the government for the residents of Kampar such as Hospitals, schools, water and electricity supply etc. In addition, the Kampar District Council was established to manage and enforce the required laws and regulations including managing the cleanliness and sanitary requirements of Kampar.

Jawatan Kosong MDP Puteh - Majlis Daerah Pasir Puteh - MDPP - Pasir Puteh District Council is a State Statutory Body established on 1 January 1979 in line with the restructuring of local authorities across the nation under Act 171 (1976).The Council's administration areas are a result of the merging of Local Authority areas that have already existed before 1979 (of the Pasir Puteh Town Board and the Cherang Ruku Local Council) with several new areas located outside of both the said local authorities.

The Kelantan State local authority during the 24th State Exco Council Meeting in 1998 which convened on 16 December 1998 decided to expand the Pasir Puteh District Council to include the whole Territory (District) of Pasir Puteh. Border-altering by any Local Authority is permitted as provisioned under Section 4(3), Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171) which is:

"The State Authority, in consultation with the Minister and the Secretary of the Election Commission, may by notification in the Gazette, alter the boundaries of any Local Authority Area."

In accordance with this provision which requires that any propositions to alter borders of any Local Authority by the State Authority, must be consulted with the Minister of Housing and Local Government and the Secretary of the Election Commission Malaysia before it is gazetted, in which the Kelantan State Government has referred the proposition to be considered by both parties. The Election Commission of Malaysia in this matter stated that the proposition is approved by their party as stated in its correspondence: SPR (S) 172/Jld.5 / (32), dated 7 May 2003.

The area of the Pasir Puteh District Council is approximately 50 square miles which is a third of the whole Pasir Puteh Region (167.2 square miles). In addition, MDPP had also prepared a 1990 structure plan and the Structure Planning Draft (part of Pasir Puteh District Council). The expansion of the MDPP area to the whole Pasir Puteh Region was gazetted on 7 July 2005.

In the early stages of its establishment, MDPP had to face various harsh adversities in its efforts to obtain stability of its existence. Now, MDPP has successfully diversified its activities to facilitate the people which encompass the retail or business space licence unit, rental marquees, special actions unit, enforcement division, Public Health Division, Urban Beautification and Cleanliness and many more.

Jawatan Kosong Jerantut - Majlis Daerah Jerantut - Jerantut District Council was established on 02 October 1982. It covered an area of 12,109.00 hectares. From the total, 3,020.00 hectares was gazetted under the Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171) section 127, section 128 and section 163 as Operations Area, while the remaining 9,021.00 hectares was gazetted as Control Area. Areas included were the town of Jerantut, Batu Balai, Damak, Jerantut Ferry and Kuala Tembeling.

According to legend and history, the name ‘Jerantut' has been used since the days before the rule of Sultan Ahmad (Wan Ahmad), the first Sultan of Pahang. Sultan Ahmad became the Sultan of Pahang after the civil war between him and Tun Mutahir in Pekan, Wan Ahmad strategized and attacked Pekan with the solid support and forces to conquer Pekan from Tun Mutahir's rule. Wan Ahmad had the support of the leaders of the local residents from all areas in Ulu Pahang – Dato' Bahaman, a warrior, led the area from Temerloh and Semantan, Dato' Orang Orang Kaya Indera Maharaja Perba Jelai Wan Muhammad bin Wan Idris led Lipis, Jelai and Semantan Ulu Raub and Dato' Gajah Iman Rasu Abdul Salam led Jerantut and its surrounding areas.

History showes that the shield that became the symbol of greatness of Pahang which is the elephant tusks that intersect with the shadow of the coffee leaf is realised in the shape of a spear and intertwined with the Arabic letters "YA-ALIF LAM THO YAA FA" that is "YA-LATIFF" on the right and left between the tips of the tusks that intersects with the spearhead. "YA-LATIFF" a zikir (utterance), and a worship practice in Islam, is also one of the 99 names of Allah. According to historical researchers, this is one of the strength and sign of respect that is inherent in the symbol of Pahang from then till now and hopefully till the end of time. It is also hoped that the Pahang flag with its combination of black and white colours will be respected and exulted and continues to be the pride of the citizens of Pahang.

It is reminded that the concept and design of the shield and flag of Pahang described above was created and agreed upon during the meeting between Wan Ahmad and the dignitaries of the state and the leaders of the people from all areas of Ulu Pahang. During this meeting it was decided to conquer Pekan and defeat Tun Mutahir. The meeting took place in Bukit Main Angin in Ulu Tembeling in the district of Jerantut near the border of Pahang and the state of Terengganu. Bukit Main Angin truly is important in the history of Pahang. And without a doubt, Jerantut is also carved with ‘golden ink' in history.

The name ‘Jerantut' was taken from the dialect of the Indigenous People according to a tale that was supposed to have taken place during the rule of Sultan Ahmad. It was told that a few Malays who lived around Sungai Salan Village in Pulau Tawar were looking for a buffalo which did not come ‘home' from wandering around. They questioned the Indigenous People in Paya Tambak Village, situated not far from the Pahang River, where a stream flows over a rocky rapid (jeram). The Indigenous People pointed to where the buffalo was, saying the buffalo was near the "JERAM TUT", meaning ‘that jeram'. The buffalo was found standing still because the rope around its neck was stuck on a tree near the rapid. As time goes by, the place was called JERANTUT due to the incidence

During the sovereign rule of the king, the sultan appointed Tok Penghulu (Headman) for a Mukim (an area consisting of a group of villages) to administer and oversee the wellbeing and safety of the people. The Penghulu was assisted by Tok Empat or Ketua Kampung (Village Heads). The administration system continues to this day even though times have changed the state today is developed and modern.

Before Jerantut District Council was established in the beginning of 1960, the town of Jerantut was managed and administered by the Jerantut Town Board which was chaired by the District Officer. With the formation of Jerantut District Council as the Local Authority, the planning of Jerantut now and in the future is guaranteed to portray the glory of the patriotic history with all parties cooperating and in accord with full responsibility for the future, the 21st century and 2020 specifically.

On March 19, 1997 Executive Council ( MMK ) has agreed corporation formed specifically to administer Pulau Tioman. Tioman is also not included in the Board of Island Resort Development and Management to be established by the Federal Government.

Jawatan Kosong MQA - Agensi Kelayakan Malaysia - The Malaysian Qualifications Agency or the MQA is a statutory body in Malaysia set up under the Malaysian Qualifications Act 2007 to accredit academic programs provided by educational institutions providing post secondary or higher education and facilitate the accreditation and articulation of qualifications.

The establishment of a new entity which merges the National Accreditation Board (LAN) and the Quality Assurance Division, Ministry of Higher Education (QAD) was approved by the Government on 21 December 2005. This entity is responsible for quality assurance of higher education for both the public and the private sectors.

The new entity, the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), was established on 1 November 2007 with the coming in force of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency Act 2007. The MQA was officially launched by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education, Dato' Mustapa Mohamed, on 2 November 2007.

The main role of the MQA is to implement the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) as a basis for quality assurance of higher education and as the reference point for the criteria and standards for national qualifications. The MQA is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the quality assurance practices and accreditation of national higher education.

The establishment of the MQA saw LAN dissolved and its personnel absorbed into the MQA.

With the vision to be a credible and internationally recognised higher education quality assurance body and the mission to inspire the confidence of its stakeholders through best practices, the MQA is set to chart new boundaries in higher education quality assurance.
