Jawatan Kosong TNB Research - TNB Research Sdn. Bhd. (TNBR) is the research arm of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). TNB Research, better known as TNBR, has been the in-house solution provider for Tenaga Nasional Berhad since 1993. Situated in Bangi, Selangor, the R&D Centre provide a centralised, one-stop centre for technical solutions and innovation.

Streams of solution developed under various Applied Research projects have been introduced to our parent company which have contributed towards improving the overall operational performance such as power plant unplanned outage rate (UOR), transmission system minutes, distribution SAIDI and a few others.

While continuing effort on operational improvement initiatives in TNB, TNBR now are embarking on various Advanced Research projects in positioning TNB to be an early adopters of promising technologies.

TNBR’s main role is to conduct research and development to address some of the most pressing energy issues of our times, including:-
  • How to meet the increasing demand for electricity while mitigating the effects on the environment.
  • How to ensure power generation options remain efficient and available.
  • How to develop and integrate next generation green energy technologies to ensure sustainable development.
  • How to improve the reliability and robustness of power delivery to customers.

Qualified Malaysian citizens invited to fill the vacancies at TNB Research Sdn Bhd as follows :

1. Executive (Training & Development)

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training needs analysis of each individual staff (TNA/TNI).
  • Prepare training plan, coordinate and implement the training and ensure staff receive adequate training as per requirement.
  • Conduct post training evaluation and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all training records are updated.
  • Develop functional / technical competencies for all positions.
  • Coordinate induction training for new hires.
  • Monitor progress of post graduate study and report to the management quarterly in the Human Resource Development Council.
  • Administer contract document for post graduate study.
Requirements:
  • The prospective candidate should:
  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration/Management or other related fields from higher learning institutions recognized by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) / Malaysian Quality Agency (MQA).
  • Able to speak and write proficiently in English & Malay.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office .
  • Experience in related field is an advantage.
