Jawatan Kosong SMART - The Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (SMART) is a storm drainage and road structure in Kuala Lumpur, a major national project in the country. It will be the longest stormwater tunnel in South East Asia and second longest in Asia. The main objective of this tunnel is to solve the problem of flash floods in Kuala Lumpur and also reduce traffic jams along Jalan Sg Besi to Seremban.
The SMART project is implemented under the close supervision of the Government, namely the Drainage and Irrigation Department of Malaysia and the Malaysia Highway Authority. Engineering support for SMART project is provided by a local consultant, Sepakat Setia Perunding (Sdn) Bhd in association with Mott MacDonald of UK.

1. Contract cum Legal Executive
Job Description
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and advice on various types of agreements and contractual documents entered into by the Company.
- Review the operations, maintenance and 3rd party agreements, ensuring that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
- Instruct and liaise with the Company’s external counsel on litigation and arbitration matters.
- Custodian of Company’s agreements, contractual documents and legal correspondences.
- Assist with insurance claims and all insurance coverage of the company.
- Coordinate management and board meetings and ensure minutes of meeting prepared.
- Part of the team that conducts analysis and study on business matter as and when required by the Management.
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Law or its equivalent. Those with legal firm background would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience, however resourceful fresh graduate will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Powerpoint).
- Candidate must possess an ability to interpret and draft legal documentations.
- Possess high integrity and good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
