Jawatan Kosong MAIAMP - Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak - MAIPk - MAIAMP is a council established to advise the Perak Sultan .

Perak is one of the Federated Malay States which was established by the Allied agreement on July 1, 1896 . During that time, the Council of Malay Rulers of the Federated Malay States ( Perak , Pahang , Selangor and Negeri Sembilan ) was established to discuss and affairs of common interest between the Malay Rulers to the British Government . Silver State hosted the first meeting of the Council of Malay Rulers of the Federated Malay States , better known as Durbar Meeting , which was held on 13 and 17 July 1897 at the Istana Bukit Chandan , Kuala Kangsar , Perak.

During the reign of Shah Sultan Yussuf Izz this , then , the State Government formally established the Islamic Council and the ' Adat Melayu Perak on 1 Muharram 1369 AH October 23, 1949 . Specific laws relating to the administration of the Islamic religion and Malay custom in this state officially approved on May 1, 1952 .

With the establishment of the Islamic Religious Council and Perak Malay Customs , Central administration of Islamic law and the Koran Committee Perak in Kuala Kangsar , were consolidated under the Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs and transferred to Ipoh Perak . Meanwhile , the administration of the House Islamic law in place has come under the administration of the Office of Kadi Kuala Kangsar. Official Office of Religious and Malay Customs Silver first stationed at the State Secretariat .

To further streamline the administration of the Islamic religion and Malay customs in the State , the law relating thereto have been reviewed , amended and enacted several times . In 1965 , a law called the Law Administration of Muslim Law Act 1965 ( Enactment No. 11 of 1965) was enacted to replace the 1952 law . Later, on January 13, 1993 , Administrative Law Religious 1965 has been replaced by the Islamic Religious Administration Enactment 1992 ( Enactment No. 1992) . Under Bill Enactment . 2 of 1992 , the Council of Religious and Malay Customs was formally incorporated as a statutory body of government . For the purpose of uniformity with other states throughout Malaysia , the Religious Administration Enactment 1992 , eventually replaced by the Islamic Religious Administration Enactment ( Silver ) 2004 ( Enactment No. 4 of 2004) . Enactment of the Bill . 4 of 2004 was enacted on 15 September 2004 and remains in force until now . Entities of Religious and Malay Customs is still maintained as a government statutory body .
