Jawatan Kosong Ketengah - Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) was incorporated on 12th April 1973 through Parliamentary Act No. 104/73 and was given the authority to execute economic and social development within an area covering 443,876 hectares and encompassing the interiors of Dungun, Kemaman and Hulu Terengganu Districts.
Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) is is an agency under the Ministry of Foreign Advancement and Regional Airport has established on 12 April 1973 with the Act of Parlimen Bil. 104/73 to be given the power to carry out economic and social development in the region covers an area of ??443.876 hectares of inland area Dungun, Kemaman and Hulu Terengganu.
On 12 Jun 1993, Tasik Kenyir Development Zone, covering an area of 209.199 hectares Hulu Terengganu has digezetkan through PU (B) 356 and the No. slow news. PW486 as partly instead of making the entire area ketengah ketengah totaling 653.075 hectares or approximately one half than the breadth Negeri Terengganu.
