Jawatan Kosong JPM - Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM) or Formerly known as General Administration, Prime Minister’s Department. The department was reorganized into nine (9) divisions, Innovation and Human Resource Management (BIPSM), Finance (B. Kew), Development, the Accounts (BA), Management Services (BKP), Internal Audit, Corporate Communications Unit (UKK), Events Management & Legal Adviser Office. All nine (9) divisions are reporting to the Senior Deputy Secretary-General and assisted by the two Deputy Secretary-General which are Deputy Secretary-General (P) and Deputy Secretary-General (K&P).

Jabatan Perdana Menteri - Department of the Prime Minister ( PMO ) was established in 1957 to have three parts , the Cabinet and Constitution , as well as the Security and Intelligence Secretariat of Economic Advisers . Until now the PMO has 45 agencies / departments which is under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister. Ministers under the Department of the Prime Minister is Senator Abdul Wahid Omar , Dato 'Sri Shahidan Kassim , Major General (Rtd ) Jamil Khir Baharom , Senator Idris Jala , Tan Sri Joseph Kurup , Puan Hajah Nancy Shukri , Dato ' Sri Joseph Entulu Belaun and Senator Paul Low Seng Kwan .

Prime Minister's Office ( PMO ) was established after the repeal of the Office of the Secretary General

PMO set up is in order:
  • planning, formulating and coordinating all policies and goals as well as through ensuring that national security for the implementation of government policies to give happiness and perfection of life of Malaysians is guaranteed;
  • determine all matters in the areas of administration , finance , personnel , services, customs and overall management of the department and a conference organized by the Malaysian government implemented in accordance with regulations prescribed from time to time .
Prime Minister's Office ( PMO ) is the most important departments in the country's administrative system as act as a responsible major policies of the Government. When established , the department consists of the Cabinet and Constitution , and the Security and Intelligence Secretariat of Economic Advisers . Principal Administrative Officer for the Department of the Prime Minister is the Chief Secretary to the Government ( KSN ) , who is also the Secretary General ( KSU ) . He is assisted by the Deputy Secretary General ( Deputy Secretary General ( Cabinet) ), Deputy Secretary ( TKSUK ) and Deputy Secretary ( Deputy Secretary General) . On August 31, 1957 , the Public Service Commission established corresponds to the independence of Malaya and is a central agency to JPM . The Commission is responsible for performing the appointment , confirmation , permanent staffing , pensionable establishment , promotion, transfer and disciplinary control . In September 1957 , the Cabinet and Constitution established by its original name before it was part of the Cabinet . In 1995 , the name of the Cabinet, Intergovernmental Relations and the Constitution came into use on July 1, 1995 . On 4 September 1957 the Election Commission of Malaysia established under Article 114 of the Constitution. During its inception , the Commission election be composed of a chairman and two members. National Palace placed in the custody of the Department of the Prime Minister. 

Functions and Roles
  1. Provides support services , including administration, finance, human resource management, security , social and other staff to the Prime Minister's department efficiently and effectively , in accordance with the rules and instructions set.
  2. Managing the needs of quarters , office space and a conducive and comfortable retreat for Public Servants and maintain , regulate and plan the use of property owned by the federal government efficiently and effectively .
  3. Improve the quality of the Malaysian Civil Service to be more efficient, effective, responsive and integrity and embrace the use of information technology in the public service .
  4. To provide efficient, effective and quality to the Cabinet and the Chief Secretary , who is also the Secretary to the Cabinet and track implementation of the decisions of the Government.
  5. A reference point for all issues regarding safety protection covering physical security , documents and personnel as well as the formulation , manufacture and specify the security policy of protection to be implemented properly .
  6. Manage Ceremonial and Protocol National , heads of Greatness Award Federal Dignitaries visit the National Conference and the Putrajaya International Convention Centre of excellence based on the best -quality work .
  7. Determining coordination of policies, strategies and programs of the National Economic Development for the medium and long-term designed in a planned , efficient and perfect for strengthening the country's competitiveness , promoting economic growth , promote public-private sector cooperation , intensify knowledge economy, and enhance the development of socio -economic development.
  8. The main central agency to monitor the implementation of policies , strategies, programs and projects and to resolve issues related to the efficient and effective to be implemented in accordance with national development objectives.
  9. Ensure the formulation and coordination and implementation of policies related to national security and the command security measures conducted a planned, comprehensive and integrated .
  10. Improve law enforcement coordination and involvement Maritime National Maritime elements in any maritime task to determine the sovereignty and security of Malaysian waters preserved and Maritime interest from encroachment .
  11. Planning, designing , formulating and monitoring the enforcement of maritime policies and help the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA ) is an agency competent to provide equipment and infrastructure through the development and acquisition .
  12. Improve uniformity of procedures and practices in matters relating to waqf, zakat and charities across the country ; and improve the monitoring and coordination of policies and regulations on business and pilgrimage activities .
  13. Establishing Islamic law on uniform administration of the Syariah Court for adoption in the states .
  14. Prepare and administer the law in accordance with Islamic law in a fair and effective through acts passed .
  15. Establish regular fatwas and updates based on the Quran , As- Sunnah , consensus and Qias and other sources of jurists and religious instructors create a credible and work with Wal - Sunni Cabinet .
  16. Ensuring legal assistance , counseling and mediation services provided to those who are less fortunate.
  17. Ensure that the administration of the Department and court development planned, coordinated and implemented in an efficient , orderly and effective and helps in improving the administration of justice and the legal system of the country.
  18. Ensure that administrative and Insolvency services performed in accordance with legal requirements and customer needs efficiently, quickly and effectively.
  19. To ensure the Department has the human, financial , equipment and adequate and appropriate infrastructure to enable it to perform its role and tasks effectively and ensure that all cases filed in court are resolved quickly , fairly and in accordance with the principles of law and respected Negar and confidence of all parties.
  20. Help people who are having problems with the machinery of public administration to treat recovering and exploit unfounded complaints sebagi input to government agencies improve accountability , quality and productivity of the public service .
  21. Increasing knowledge, expertise, quality and performance of public service officials , statutory bodies and local authorities involved in the judicial , legal and law enforcement to create a service that is fair, efficient and effective through a planned and systematic training .
  22. Acting as a liaison between the State Government of Sabah and Sarawak and the Federal Government to facilitate Federal projects and things that are of concern remain Prime Minister.
  23. Ensure the preparation, interpretation and dissemination of statistical quality , latest , more efficient and effective for the formation of policy implementation of development planning and administration.
  24. Protect and promote human rights in Malaysia .
  25. Advancing rural communities in particular target groups PERDA , FELDA in all socio-economic areas through the efforts of human development , economic and physical development with a focus on improving quality of life .
